Skills Initiative of the Year

This category is open to all construction organisations and rewards those who have invested in the training and skills needed to create a construction workforce that will support the industry’s needs today and in the future, creating a sector which is technically skilled, technologically advanced and is able to attract future talent.

This category seeks to reward those who have over the past year invested in a particularly innovative or successful approach to addressing the industry’s skills needs; whether by attracting new entrants to the sector, promoting construction as a career, or upskilling the current workforce in their business or the wider sector. Entrants should focus their entry around a specific initiative, but should also explain how this fits with their wider approach to skills and training to support their entry.

Last year’s winner: John Rowan and Partners – Classroom to Chartership Initiative
